Truly and amazing man, and one we should all emulate. I’m so happy for him and may the struggle against injustice continue. For those who haven’t seen his narration of what he went through on 9/11 here’s the link:

On 9/11 William told CNN that he heard a rumble, and then a burned man came in. He said nothing about explosions then or the following year when he was CNN again. When he began traveling around the rumble become a “BOOM! An explosion so hard that it push us upward!” and the ceiling fell down and the sprinklers sprayed and the burned man came in saying “Explosion! Explosion!”

For years William claimed that he “single-handedly rescued 15 persons.” Recently he has removed that claim from his website, in effect admitting that he lied about it for years.

He has claimed that he saved hundreds by opening locked fire exits, but not one person will come forward to thank him for saving their lives
in this way. If his “Key of Hope” was so important to saving lives, why was he allowed to take it with him when he was ordered to leave the building?

William has done enormous damage to the credibility of the 9/11 Truth movement, and his impossible and highly self-serving tales of his own heroism are an insult to the dead heroes of 9/11.

I felt like returning here after soo long. I managed to bump into our Brother William once again at this year’s GPU. Alhumdullillah he is looking much better. The last time I saw him, he was very ill from the effects of all the poisoning in New York after the attacks, from the toxic debri in the water and in the air. Before, he struggled to climb stairs and his weight kept ballooning, and he had a very strict diet as his digestion was weak.
However, he has now lost some weight and looks much better. I asked him and he said hes been much much better. Though of course, some of the effects of the poisoning will remain unknown till much later. The US, even after Michael Moore’s “SICKO” covering the 9/11 First Responders and how they had suffered from this, still denies a proven link between what they are all suffering and dieing from, and what happened on 9/11, and also, lets not forget it was the US GOvt who said that the air is safe to breath and the water safe to drink.

He has recently completed his Docu-Movie, which he has been selling and producing very slowly on DVD. Its called “Last Man Out”, which a lot of footage and new interviews of people that I had not seen before, and I had almost seen all footages 9/11 related till then.

Hopefully he starts selling it on his website, or has it in production like Loose Change so perhaps we can all just simply get it on Amazon.

I didn’t get a chance to see how his talk went at the GPU this year. Anyone have any updates?

Congratulations to Brs. William and Zabooka (belatedly) and ask that they include us in their prayers.. I was deeply affected by a video lecture by Willam Rodriguez – this was before I knew he was Muslim. I felt his sincerity and passion for truth.

Gareth – keep up your own passion for truth. Know that Muslims are people of truth and you have friends here.

Anon[ymous] – I respect your doubt but not the rank disregard for opinions. There is a lot more than just emotion in the truth movement. I’m skeptical about the reptilian Illuminati theory (unless they’re Jinn) but all is never as it seems

Interesting to note for people who embracing Islam by Hidayah of Allah are more appreciative of greatness of Islam than the by birth rights Muslims..i am for one, guilty as charged.

I would just like to add (as I had also come to this post when searching for William Rodriguez+Muslim) that I have just come back from a talk by Brother William Rodriguez (31st July 2007) and ALHAMDULILLAAH he mentioned that he has indeed embraced Islaam and was supposed to ‘publicize’ it with Sheikh Yusuf Estes announcing it here in Malaysia (although unfortunately Sheikh Yusuf did not make it to Malaysia).

What an amazing description of what he went through – detailed and thorough… and shocking.

Alhamdulillaah… he actually mentioned that he said the syahadah in the taxi and they had stopped halfway whereby he was ‘welcomed’ by hugs by the other brothers who were there when they were on their way to the Global Peace and Unity event!

May Allaah give him strength to continue and guide him and us all to His Straight Path, Ameen. May Allaah protect us, Ameen.
