Read Amad's comments, in which he directly talks about homosexuality. So, yes, if you don't intend to remain gay, and even if you falter later, everyone sins... the main thing is to realize this sin and ask for forgiveness. So, don't let this one issue become a barrier. Humans all have different weaknesses, some men may have weaknesses for women (besides their wife), etc. The trial and test is for each of us to save ourselves from the weakness.
